About Us:

Retail Data Systems (RDS) is the leading provider of Point of Sale (POS) systems and department scales for grocery and retail businesses. We are seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and support our systems at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and service POS systems, department scales, and related hardware.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site.
  • Perform routine maintenance and system updates.
  • Provide training and technical support to customers.
  • Travel to customer locations as needed, with some overtime and weekend work required.

Requirements:

  • Clean background check
  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
  • Familiarity with computer hardware & networking
  • Competency with hand tools for installation and repairs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
